Monasticon Praemonstratense (I, 270)

Approximate modern location: Scania, southern Sweden, at lake Vomb, not far from Lund toward the east.

Elm-Number [See below]: 55*

Other Comments: This house has been owned since the 16th century by a very famous Swedish family.  They have graciously opened many of the buildings up to the public, and there has been a great deal of preservation.  It is set in a gorgeous park like setting and when one approaches it, it looks stunningly like the approach to the front of Prémontré itself!  If one interested in Premonstratensian sites visits Scandinavia, one must visit Öfved.
