Monasticon Praemonstratense (III, 31)

Approximate modern location: A coastal city in Dep. Charente-Maritime, southwest of Niort.

Elm-Number [See below]: None.*

Other Comments: The last Parthenon of the Order in France.  After suppression it was a diocesan seminary, and by 1844 was a Franciscan school.  The school was secularized in the 1880s. There are still 15th century windows from the Parthenon period in the building which was once the church.
