This is the Gothic descendant of the Romanesque church where Norbert spent his youth and studied as a subdeacon.  Here he first became uncomfortable and dissatisfied at the laxity of the Church in the early 12th century.  Here also he first failed at reform efforts of diocesan canons, coming gradually to the decision to found a fundamentally new, and highly reformist Order -- the Premonstratensians.
