Leffe Abbey, Leffe (Dinant), Belgium

. . . THIS MAY TAKE A MOMENT OR TWO . . .

This is the front entry to the abbey church as viewed from outside.  The abbey is at the northern limit of Dinant, just across the municipal boundary in Leffe.  It is in a built-up urban area, at a busy cross roads.  It is very easy to miss!

This is a view of the side entrance area into the abbey itself.  Local villagers still use the abbey as a source of drinking water.

The pilgrim gardens lie outside of the cloistered area.

The cloister garden is very beautiful.
