Allerheiligen

. . . THIS MAY TAKE A MOMENT OR TWO . . .

These are the ruins of Allerheiligen.  Note the huge scale of these ruins, since there are two men examining them at lower right-center.

This is another, even more stately, view of the ruins.  This former house is located in the Black Forest of Germany.

Transcept photograph contributed by Mr. B. Conneller, friend of the Order.  He describes the abbey being at the head of a picturesque valley with a steam running through it. allerheiligen21.jpg (25465 bytes)
A second transcept photograph contributed by Mr. Conneller, perhaps the North Transcept. allerheiligen2.jpg (30072 bytes)
Photograph of what is probably a nave aisle.   Note the transcept door at lower left, appearing in an unusual position if this is indeed the nave aisle. Our thanks again to Mr. Conneller. allerheiligen1.jpg (18694 bytes)
