Other Comments:  Parthenon established 1158 when nuns were removed from Jovilliers.  Closed in 13th century due to underpopulation.  Buildings became part of parish infrastructure of Jovilliers.  Pilgrimage chapel to B.M.V. existed long after closure of house, up to about 1736.  Buildings survive as part of a castle.
