Brother Thomas A. Filbrant, O. Praem.

b. Friday, June 27, 1924 – d. Monday, Jan. 27, 1947

Our brother Thomas Filbrandt was born in Antigo, Wisconsin in 1924.  After his freshman year at the college, he joined the Order in 1943 and was simply professed in 1945.

Thomas and his classmate Walter Ziegler were killed in a car accident while traveling from the abbey to their teaching duties at Central Catholic in Green Bay on Monday, January 27, 1947.  Tom was only 23 years old.
