b. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1879 – d. Sunday, May 17, 1936

Our brother Martin DeLang was born in Hilvarenbeck, Holland in 1879.  He was vested at Berne Abbey in 1899, and came to the United States in 1901.  He was solemnly professed in 1904. 

Immediately after his ordination that year, he was sent to St. Norbert Parish in Munger, Michigan.  From 1908 until 1916, he was pastor at St. Peter’s in Lincoln.  He was transferred back to the abbey in 1916, because of deafness that did not permit him to carry out ministerial duties.  Martin died Sunday, May 17, 1936 at the age of 57.
